Landing pages

Build your home page and campaign pages from sections, preview drafts, publish when ready, reuse sections, test headlines and see what visitors do.

A landing page is a page you assemble from sections — a hero, features, pricing, a form, a map and more — instead of writing it as one long text. Your home page can be one, and so can any number of other pages for a campaign, a course launch or an event, each at its own address. Landing pages are part of the higher plans; open them under Landing page in the dashboard.

Your first landing page

  1. 1Open Landing page. Press Templates to start from a ready-made page in your site's language, Write with AI to have one drafted from a few lines about your business (if your plan includes it), or Add section to build it yourself.
  2. 2Fill in each section. Drag a section by its handle to move it, or use the arrows; the copy button duplicates it.
  3. 3Press Show preview to see the page inside your real site, as it will look once published — on a desktop or a phone width.
  4. 4Press Publish. Then switch on Show as home page so visitors see it instead of your latest posts.

Drafts, publishing and history

Everything you change is saved as a draft a moment after you stop typing — the line at the top says Draft saved · not published. Visitors keep seeing the published page until you press Publish. Discard draft goes back to what is live.

History lists the last 20 versions you published, with who published them and when. Restore brings one back as your draft, so you can look at it before publishing it again.

The sections

SectionWhat it is for
HeroThe headline at the top, with a subtitle, an image and up to two buttons — and an optional A/B test.
Features, Steps, NumbersWhat you offer, how it works, and figures such as years or students. Features can carry an icon each.
Rich text, Columns, Image and textFormatted text on its own, in two or three columns, or beside a picture.
Gallery, Image slider, VideoPictures in a grid or one at a time, and a video from YouTube, Vimeo and other services.
Testimonials, Team, LogosQuotes (in a grid or a sideways carousel), the people behind the site, and the names you work with.
Pricing, Call to action, CountdownYour prices — optionally with a monthly / yearly switch — a closing button, and a countdown to a date.
FAQ, Form, MapQuestions and answers (search engines are told about them), one of your forms, and a map with your address and opening hours.
Upcoming events, Products, Photo album and moreLive content from the rest of your site, read fresh every time the page is shown.
SpacerEmpty room between two sections, with an optional line.

How a section looks

Under each section's fields you can set how it looks, without touching the theme:

  • Background: shaded, your accent colour, dark, an accent gradient, a colour of your own, a background image (with a darker or lighter veil so the text stays readable) or a silent background video.
  • Spacing: none, compact, regular or roomy.
  • Width: the content column, wide, or the full window.
  • Show on: every screen, or hide the section on phones or on larger screens.
  • Motion on scroll: a gentle fade, rise or zoom as the section comes into view. Visitors who ask their device for less motion never see it.

More landing pages

  1. 1Open Landing page → Other landing pages and press New landing page. Give it a name and an address — summer-sale makes the page /summer-sale.
  2. 2Build it like the home page. Above the sections, Page settings holds its name and address, Search and sharing (the title and description in search results, a share image, and Hide from search engines), and When it is shown.
  3. 3Publish it, then switch on Show this page on the site.

Addresses the site already uses for its own sections, such as /shop or /blog, can't be taken. If a regular page has the same address, the regular page is shown and the list marks the landing page as hidden.

Reusing sections: the library

Press the bookmark on any section to Save to library. Then, on any page, open Library and choose Insert copy — a copy this page owns — or Insert linked, which shows the section exactly as it is in the library: change it once under Landing page → Library and every page using it changes at once. Detach and edit here turns a linked section into a copy.

In the same dialog, Save this page as a template keeps the whole page to start other pages from.

Writing with AI

Write with AI asks for a few lines about the business or the offer and who it is for, and writes the sections into your draft in the page's language — after the sections you have, or instead of them. It never invents prices, quotes or numbers: where a section needs one you'll find a placeholder such as [price] to fill in. Nothing is public until you publish, and Undo brings back the page as it was.

Seeing what works

With analytics on your plan, each section in the editor shows its last 30 days: how often it was seen, how often a link or button in it was clicked, and the rate. Nothing about the visitor is kept — only the counts.

To test a headline, open the hero and switch on A/B test this headline, then write version B. Half of your visitors see each version, and each keeps seeing the same one for the day — without a cookie. When one clearly gets more clicks, press Use version B (or switch the test off to keep A).

Several languages

If your site is in more than one language, the home page has a tab for each, each with its own sections, draft and switch. Copy from… fills the tab you are in with another language's sections, ready to translate.

Custom CSS

For the last details the section settings don't cover, Custom CSS applies CSS of your own to one page: under the home page's sections, and in an extra page's settings. Every section sits in an element with data-section-id. For safety, @import, HTML and images from anywhere but https addresses are refused.
