Plans and billing
Upgrade, switch or cancel your plan, find your invoices, and what happens when you reach a limit.
Every website starts on the Free plan, with no card needed, and each website has its own plan. Only the website's owner can see Billing in the sidebar.
Upgrading
- 1Open Billing and, under Choose a plan, pick Monthly or Yearly.
- 2Press Upgrade on the plan you want. A secure Paddle checkout opens and shows the final price, including any VAT where you are, before you pay.
- 3After paying, the website moves to its new plan within a few seconds.
Switching and cancelling
- Switch to this plan under Change plan moves you straight away. You're charged the difference for the rest of the period, or credited it against your next payment if the new plan costs less.
- Cancel plan keeps everything your plan includes until the end of the period you've paid for, then moves the website to Free. Keep my plan undoes it before then.
- Extra languages adds or removes languages on top of your plan, charged for the rest of the period.
When you reach a limit
Plans limit things like pages, posts, courses, forms, languages and team seats. When you reach one, nothing is deleted, unpublished or taken offline: your site keeps showing everything it has. You just can't add more of that thing until you remove something or upgrade. The same holds after a cancellation — anything over the Free plan's limits becomes read-only, never removed.
Some sections show how much you've used: the Forms page, the Courses list, the Languages card in Settings, and the Plan item on your website's overview.
Invoices and payment problems
Invoices on the Billing screen lists every invoice to download. Billing details & invoices opens Paddle's page for your company details and payment method. If a payment fails, Paddle tries again — press Update payment method to keep your plan. Plan changes wait until the payment is sorted.
What counts as a website
One website is one site with its own content, theme, domains and team — a staging copy is a second website. The Free plan covers one website; for another, upgrade the existing one or choose a paid plan for the new one.
